Our priority is to support the members of the local North Berwick American Legion Post in accomplishing their goals by:

● Provide care packages for military members

● Visit and provide necessities for veterans in nursing facilities or in their homes

● Provide Scholarships for Veteran Families

● Support the Honor Flight Maine https://www.honorflightmaine.org/

● Assisting with Bean Suppers and Breakfasts for the community on a monthly basis

● Participating in the Memorial Day and Christmas Parades.

● Participating in the annual Poppy Drive on Labor Day to support Post 87

● Participating in the town’s Millfield Festival in September- Silent Auction, Raffles, 50/50 Donuts & Coffee

● Conducting a community yard sale for the town of North Berwick and surrounding communities

● Participating in 4th of July barbecue activities sponsored by our Legion

● Conducting an Ice Cream Social during our town’s music performances at the Mill Field

● Assisting with the free Veteran’s Day Breakfast

● Visiting our local schools to educate and promote Americanism and Patriotism

● Offering opportunities for high school students to work beside as they earn community hours towards their high school graduation requirements which in turn teaches children the value of volunteering

● Supporting the Girl State Program The American Legion Family Dirigo State Program Colby College

● Promote the use of Smile Associates/Amazon Program as a fundraiser without costing shoppers and money.
